Bright Star
Genre: Period Drama
Synopsis: London 1818: a secret love affair begins between 23 year old English poet, John Keats, and the girl next door, Fanny Brawne, an outspoken student of high fashion.
This unlikely pair began at odds, he thinking her a stylish minx, while she was unimpressed not only by his poetry but also by literature in general.
However, when Fanny heard that Keats was nursing his seriously ill younger brother, her efforts to help touched Keats and when she asked him to teach her about poetry, he agreed. The poetry soon became a romantic remedy that worked not only to sort their differences but also to fuel an impassioned love affair. When Fanny's alarmed mother and Keats' best friend finally awoke to their attachment, the relationship already had an unstoppable momentum. Intensely and helplessly absorbed in each other, the young lovers were swept deeply in to powerful new sensations, 'I have the feeling as if I were dissolving', Keats wrote to her. Together they rode a wave of romantic obsession that only deepened as their troubles mounted.
When Keats fell ill a year later, the two young lovers faced not marriage but separation and a painfully frustrated love. In Keats' own poignant words, 'forever panting and forever young'.

The Last Station
Genre: Drama
Synopsis: Count Leo Tolstoy, Russia 's greatest living writer, is caught between the love of his life, Sofya, and the new, egalitarian ideas he has adopted towards the end of his life. A deceptive disciple is trying to claim his life's work and Sofya will have none of it
1910. Leo Tolstoy is the world's greatest writer and possibly the richest. From his great publishing success, he has accumulated massive wealth and prestige. His wife, Sofya, 16 years younger than Tolstoy and the love of his
life, is determined to preserve this wealth to provide for herself and her children. Chertkov, Tolstoy's devoted but underhanded disciple, shares his master's modernist ideas of a life of simplicity and frugality, and is equally determined that Tolstoy give his wealth to the people.
Chertkov hires the poor but idealistic Bulgakov to work for Tolstoy at his estate in the Russian countryside. There, Bulgakov meets Masha, a beautiful, enthusiastic young teacher and suddenly his vows of virginity and celibacy seem very threatened! Tolstoy is increasingly at odds with Sofya as Chertkov urges him to sign a new will. Bulgakov tries not to take sides but inevitably gets caught up in the struggle.
Outraged at Bulgakov's lack of cooperation, Chertkov spitefully fires Masha and sends her away from the estate. Distraught, Bulgakov tries to win her back, but he can't desert Tolstoy.
A man at war within and without, Tolstoy, in his final days, makes a run for peace on a train. Sofya soon follows on a private train, while Chertkov races after them on a third train. Too ill to continue beyond the tiny railway station at Astapovo, he stops while hundreds camp outside awaiting hourly reports. And it is here, at this remote railway junction, that Leo Tolstoy finds the answer he has been looking for.
