French sales and distribution company Le Pacte has acquired world rights to the latest film from director Jerome Bonnell, La Dame De Trefle. Le Pacte will handle the French release and will commence sales at the AFM next week.
A drama with a thriller bent, the film stars Malik Zidi, Florence Loiret Caille and Jean-Pierre Darroussin. It is produced by Gloria Film and tells the story of Aurelien whose double life as a florist and a trafficker in stolen metals will cause him to take things one step too far.
Bonnell, whose credits include J'Attends Quelqu'un, Les Yeux Clairs and Le Chignon D'Olga, is currently shooting Trefle and will wrap at the end of November.
