Klaus Haro’s Letters To Father Jacob (Postia Pappi Jaakobille) has scored nine nominations, including best film and best direction, for Finland’s Jussi Awards 2009.
The film is also Finland’s candidate for the foriegn-language Academy Awards. The shortlist of nominations is due to be announced on February 2.
Jorn Donner’s The Interrogation (Kuulustelu) and JP Valeapaa’s The Visitor (Muukalainen) both received six each.
The winners will announced at a gala evening in Helsinki on January 31.
