Denmark’s LevelK has acquired international sales rights to Australian drama/mystery Say Nothing.
LevelK’s managing director Tine Klint will introduce the $2m project to buyers at Venice and Toronto. The shoot will start in December 2010.
Joel Edgerton (Smokin Aces, Animal Kingdom) will star as a man who goes on an ill-fated holiday in South East Asia with his wife and her sister and the sister’s boyfriend. Kieran Darcy-Smith directs and co-wrote with Felicity Price.
Angie Fielder is producing for Aquarius Films, in association with Blue-Tongue Films. Screen Australia presents in association with Screen New South Wales, LevelK and Hopscotch Films.
Hopscotch Films is planning to launch the film in Australia in October 2011.
