Sydney Levine and Peter Belsito have left online industry database IMDB Pro after 18 months at the company.
The move will see Film Finders, the production and rights database Levine founded 21 years ago, remain at IMDB.
Levine and Belsito, well-known faces on the international film circuit, will pursue interests in production and education, while IMDBPro will continue to host Levine’s Sydney’s Buzz blog.
The two sold Film Finders to Withoutabox.com, the online submission service for festivals, in July 2006 and Withoutabox/Film Finders was bought by Amazon-owned IMDB in Jan 2008.
Film Finders now falls under the IMDB Pro umbrella headed by Roberta Braum.
