Latest films from Barry Levinson, Kiyoshi Kurosawa, Valeria Sarmiento and Rosa von Praunheim in Zabaltegi Specials.
Sixteen titles will play in this year’s San Sebastian Zabaltegi programme of special screenings, including features, non-fiction films, animations and TV series.
Among the features are Barry Levinson’s found footage disaster film The Bay, Toei’s anime feature Asura and Rotterdam Tiger Award winner Clip. Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s Penance and Valeria Sarmiento’s Lines of Wellington (conceived by Raul Ruiz and directed by wife Sarmiento after his death) are TV miniseries.
