Lisa Wilson has segued from Hyde Park International to a new role as president of international distribution at Graham King's GK Films.
Wilson will commence work spearheading the company's worldwide sales operations on September 22 and will begin talking to international buyers about the Emily Blunt costume drama The Young Victoria, among other titles. She reports directly to King. GK Films is currently in production on Edge Of Darkness starring Mel Gibson in Massachusetts
During Wilson's four-year tenure at Hyde Park International she handled sales on The Astronaut Farmer and Chaos Theory from Warner Independent Pictures as well as Battle In Seattle. Her career credits include Crash and The Whole Nine Yards.
'I have admired Graham greatly over the years and look forward to working on the big, studio level quality of films that have become his signature,' Wilson said in a statement.
For his part King hailed Wilson, a 30-year veteran of the business, as an industry leader. 'Lisa is undoubtedly one of the best in the business and I am very excited to have her aboard.'
As previously announced, Mimi Steinbauer has taken over the reins as president of international sales at Hyde Park International.
