The Little Film Company has boarded rights to The Ushers, a 3D contemporary adaptation of the revered Edgar Alan Poe short story The Fall Of The House Of Usher.

Claire Forlani, Dougray Scott and Rufus Sewell will star and Stephen Kay will direct the film this autumn in the US. The story follows an estate agent whose strained relationship with his young son is further put to the test during a visit to prospective clients in Martha’s Vineyard with a terrifying secret.

Stefano Gallini Durante and Pete Maggi are producing and Jason Rosemond and Philippe Reboah of Green Knight Ventures are executive producers. Gian Marco Masoni wrote the screenplay.
