3D production company Nineteen Fifteen has teamed up with ITN Productions to produce a 3D movie version of Michael Flatley’s stage production Lord of the Dance.
Directed by Marcus Viner, Lord of the Dance in 3D will be released by Supervision Media in UK cinemas on March 17, to coincide with St Patrick’s Day.
It is TV company ITN Productions’ first venture into film production.

We worked closely with Michael Flatley and Marcus Viner to ensure the 3D filming techniques encapsulated the incredible skill of the choreography and the magnificence of the production. We are delighted with the result, which is a sensory cinematic feast.”
