Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen will have its US premiere on June 22 as part of the Los Angeles Film Festival.

The film will hit US theatres two days later on June 24.

LAFF also hosted the US premiere of the 2007 Transformers blockbuster.

“The Festival is delighted to welcome back Michael Bay and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen after our successful launch two years ago. It’s a wonderful opportunity for festival audiences to get a sneak peek at what will surely be one of this summer’s biggest action films,” said festival director Rebecca Yeldham.

The DreamWorks/Paramount film again stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox. Michael Bay directs from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. Producers are Don Murphy, Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Ian Bryce. Executive producers are Steven Spielberg, Michael Bay, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian.

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen will premiere June 8 in Tokyo and will hit UK cinemas on June 19.

The LAFF, produced by Film Independent and presented by the Los Angeles Times, runs June 18-28. The festival will show more than 70 features, 70 shorts and 50 music videos from 30 countries.
