Berlin-based sales company m-appeal has added Christos Georgiou’s comedy Small Crime to its sales slate.
The Cypriot director’s second feature has already earnedmore than 350,000 Euros at the German box office since being released earlier in June.
The comedy is about a police graduate stuck in a sleepy island who dreams of solving big crimes in the city; his life changes when there is a strange death on the Island.
Twenty Twenty Vision produced in co-production with Lychnari Productions and Bad Movies.
m-appeal’s line-up also includes another Greek film, Tale 52 by Alexis Alexiou.
Small Crime will screen on July 6 and 7 at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. m-appeal’s Laura Inoka and Anne Wiedlack will attend the Czech festival.
