RLJ Entertainment subsidiary Image Entertainment has picked up all US rights from WME Global and Mandate Pictures to Diablo Cody’s feature directorial debut Paradise. Lionsgate International handles sales outside the US.

Julianne Hough, Russell Brand, Octavia Spencer, Nick Offerman and Holly Hunter star in the story of a plane crash survivor who meets two people who help her find her true self.

Cody directs from her screenplay and serves as executive producer alongside Nathan Kahane and Nicole Brown. Mason Novick produced.

Bill Bromiley, Mark Ward and Michael Bayer brokered the deal for Image with Liesl Copland of WME Global along with Dan Freedman for Mandate Pictures.
