Paramount Pictures International (PPI) has taken on UK rights to Willing Pilowsky Media’s romantic comedy My Last Five Girlfriends and set a March 2010 release on over 100 prints.
The film, which is directed by Julian Kemp, had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April, and was first screened in the UK at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in June.
The film is the first from Willing Pilowsky which is a partnership between David Willing and Marion Pilowsky. Media 8 in Los Angeles is handling international sales and will screen the film at AFM next month.
The film stars newcomer Brendan Patricks with Naomie Harris, Jane March and Cecile Cassel in the story of a man looking back at his former loves.
“We are always on the look out for smart, locally produced films and this completely independent British production fits the bill,” said Andrew Cripps, president of PPI.
