Vue Entertainment sales and marketing director leaves company after ten years.
Mark de Quervain, sales and marketing director for Vue Entertainment, is leaving the company on October 5 after ten years.
De Quervain said: “I’ve decided it’s time to seek a new challenge. I remain passionate about the film and entertainment industry and am excited about what the future will bring as I start to look for new opportunities.
“I continue to be hugely passionate about the company and grateful for the support they have given me. I wish the whole team at Vue, and in particular, Tim Richards the best of luck in the future.”
Tim Richards, Vue CEO said: “Mark joined in March 2002 and has been a key member of the team that developed and built the company from a small handful of cinemas in the UK to over 110 cinemas in six international markets today.
“Mark also played an integral part in the establishment and launch of the Vue name and brand. On behalf of everyone at Vue, I would like to extend a huge thanks to Mark for everything he has done for the company and wish him all of the success in his future endeavours.”
Vue is the UK’s third largest cinema chain.
In July, the private-equity owned cinema group announced a public takeover offer for German multiplex Cinemaxx.
