Martin Schuermann has stepped down from his post as CEO of IM Internationalmedia due to 'personal reasons' with immediate effect.
He will continue to serve as the managing director of Los Angeles-based Intermedia Film Equities USA.
Schuermann had taken up his posts at IM Internationalmedia in May 2005 as the successor to Moritz Borman, who had wanted to return to more hands-on production.
IM's CFO Sascha Konzack will now run the company on his own until a decision is made with the supervisory board on a successor for Schuermann.
