Neil Friedman’s Menemsha Films has acquired worldwide sales rights ahead of the EFM to Czech director Jan Hrebejk’s Kawasaki’s Rose (Kawasakiho Ruze).
The film will receive its international premiere when it screens in Panorama on February 12.
Kawasaki’s Rose is based on Petr Jarchovsky’s screenplay and examines the fallout that ensues after a compromised man investigates his seemingly upstanding father-in-law’s murky past.
Menemsha has represented every one of Hrebejk’s films since his Academy Award nominated Divided We Fall.
