UK distributor Metrodome Distribution has teamed with Rialto Distribution to acquire rights in UK/Ireland and Australia/New Zealand to Luca Guadagnino’s breakout Venice title I Am Love (Io Sono Amore) starring Tilda Swinton.

The deal was cut with The Works International which sealed sales rights on the film just this week in conjunction with Quickfire Films.

The acquisition comes just days after Metrodome and Rialto teamed to buy Venice Golden Lion winner Lebanon.

The deal was negotiated by Metrodome CEO Peter Urie, General Manager-Distribution Sara Frain and Head of Acquisitions James Brown with Carl Clifton, Managing Director of The Works International.
