UK distributor Metrodome has taken all UK rights to French psychological thriller Mark Of An Angel from Celluloid Dreams.
The deal was struck between general manager - theatricaland broadcast Sara Frain, acquisitions & business affairs manager Kate Edwards and CEO Peter Urie for Metrodome, with Pierre Menahem for Celluloid Dreams.
Safy Nebbou (Enfances) directs the thriller, which stars Catherine Frot and Sandrine Bonnaire. Michel Saint-Jean of Diaphana, who worked on Harry He's Here To Help and The Page Turner, produces.
Based on a true story, Mark Of An Angel is about a woman who sees a six-year-old girl who she is convinced is the daughter she lost as an infant in a hospital fire. The woman's behaviour becomes more erratic, scaring the girl's mother.
The film is out in France starting Aug 13 but a UK release date hasn't been set yet.
Metrodome CEO Urie said: 'We're delighted to continue our long running relationship with Celluloid Dreams with another exciting acquisition. Mark Of An Angel is a high-quality French thriller that we are looking forward to bringing to the UK audience as we continue our growth as a company.'
Pierre Menahem of Celluloid Dreams added: 'It's great to be working with Metrodome once again, a company with a proven track record for creative campaigns and cutting edge distribution.'
