Pradeep Mittur has been appointed Paramount Pictures' vice president of interactive and mobile entertainment for the Asia Pacific region.
Based in Singapore, Mittur will drive Paramount Digital Entertainment's interactive and mobile businesses across the region, and explore new revenue streams and technologies.
Mittur, who will report to senior vice president of interactive and mobile Sandi Isaacs, arrives from The Walt Disney Company, where he was responsible for games and applications businesses across Asia Pacific.
Prior to Disney, Mittur held sales, marketing and business development positions in various companies in the US, Middle East and Asia.
'Pradeep has outstanding relationships with key wireless, technology and content companies, in addition to the essential hands-on experience needed to drive our business opportunities further,' Paramount Digital Entertainment president Thomas Lesinski said.
'Pradeep's expertise in emerging online, wireless and gaming platforms is a perfect fit for our team,' Isaacs said. 'As we manage licensing, publishing and distribution of premium digital entertainment in this new region, Pradeep's deep and broad experience will be a tremendous asset.'
