Dutch distributor MoonlightFilm has licensed Benelux rights to locally made When Night Falls.

The psychological thrillerfollows a group of college students who launch their own investigation when thepolice fail to make progress in the hunt for a serial rapist.

It is directed by InekeHoutman and adapted from a true story by Frank Ketelaar. To be released inSeptember, it stars Caro Lenssen, Christel Oomen, Victoria Koblenko, LiesbethKamerling and Josefien Hendricks.

It was produced by WaterlandFilm and TV.
