MTVFilms Europe (MTVFE) has boarded John Barker's South African comedy Bunny Chow as a co-producer, will assistsales outfit Deviant Selling in world sales and will provide a global marketingplatform for the film in the territories it is released in.

Thefilm has its world premiere here on Monday in Vanguard and its press andindustry screening on Sunday.

Thefilm follows the trials, tribulations and unsuccessful attempts at love ofthree stand-up comedians as they make their way to popular rock concert Oppi Koppi.

DeviantSelling is the sales arm of Dv8 which produced the film with Dog Pack Films;MTV's pan-African TV network MTV base will provide marketing support for thefilm in sub-Saharan Africa.

Thefilm will be released in South Africa by Ster-Kinekorin Feb 2007.
