The SilverdocsAudience Award for best feature went to Peter Schnall's This Is A GameLadies, about theRutgers University women's hoops team.
Meanwhile KerriYost's Billy won the Silverdocs Audience Award for the best short.
Etienne Sauretcollected a special jury award for Collateral Damages, which explores the emotional andpsychological impact of September 11 on New York City firefighters.
The SterlingAward Award Certificates of Merit for Shorts went to: Almudena Carracedo'sWelcome. A Docu-Journey Of Impressions; Marina Razbezhkina's Life As It Is (Prosto Zhizn); and Hide Your Words (Harfhayat Ra Penhan Kon) by Behnam Behzadi.
'The goal ofSilverdocs was to engage the unique Washington, DC audiences to celebrate thedocumentary form,' Nina Gilden Seavey, festival director, said in astatement.
