Moxie, the low-budget arm of UK's Ipso Facto, is now complete with financing for the documentary about the life and death of Sid Vicious' girlfriend Nancy Spungen. Alan G Parker writes and directs and the project starts shooting on Monday.
Ian Davis and Susan Douglas of Double D struck the deal with Ipso/Moxie's Christine Alderson.
Moviehouse is handling sales and the documentary has already been sold to the UK (Soda), Japan (King Records) and Australia (Madman).
Alderson produces with Ben Timlett.
The film will include unseen footage of The Sex Pistols, and rare tracks that will be produced and distributed by EMI.
