NBC Universal International has restructured its digital business to maximise its digital growth strategy.
NBCUI will now organise its digital efforts in two strands: New Media Licensing and Digital Assets.
LA-based Beth Minehart has been promoted to Executive Vice President, International New Media, NBC Universal International Television Distribution. She will oversee New Media Licensing.
London-based Kevin Obi, recently appointed to the role of Senior Vice President, Digital Assets, NBC Universal, will lead the Digital Assets team. He previously worked at Synergy and Orange UK.
Universal Pictures Vice Chairman Rick Finkelstein, said: 'These new divisions address the growth in the digital marketplace. We've simplified our operational structure, resulting in two clear divisions, one for new media licensing and one for branded assets. We hope this makes it easier for our customers and potential partners to conduct business with us.'
