The National Board Of Review (NBR) has said it will hold next year’s annual awards on January 11 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York.
The body has awarded more than $100,000 in grants to 26 students as well as a community outreach to the Children’s Aid Society, The Ghetto Film School and Reel Works Teen Filmmaking.
“2009 has been a very exciting year for the NBR, as we celebrated our centennial and continued to honor the best in filmmaking,” NBR president Annie Schulhof said. “We are committed to the future of great film-makers and it is an honor to reward these talented film students. We look forward to celebrating another successful year as we return to the landmark venue, Cipriani.”
