Framewerk's Stefan Jonas and three partners have launched the new Munich-based international production outfit SRO Entertainment AG.SRO - which stands for Standing Room Only - will be represented in Los Angeles by Michael Ovitz's AMG and top lawyer Larry Hirsch to access top quality projects from the US.

"Our plan is to bring projects from there to Germany which we can produce or post-produce here drawing on our connections to the Das Werk Group", Jonas explained.

"For the feature films, we will always have a domestic deal which could be a P&A commitment or an MG. That makes it easier for us to sell foreign", he added.

SRO intends to set up its own $40m fund as well as series of equity revolving investment funds to finance projects.
