The New Horizons Association, in cooperation with the Helios cinema chain and support from the City of Wroclaw, is converting one of the multiplexes in Wroclaw into an arthouse cinema and film education centre.

As of Sept 1, the Helios multiplex will be known as the Helios New Horizons. The nine-screen venue has 2,329 seats.

The site has already been the main venue of the T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival and the American Film Festival.

By having the revamped venue year roound, New Horizons organisers can host more larger-scale film events throughout the year.

New Horizons also runs a distribution arm.
