The UK’s 3 Mills Studios has appointed Tom Avison as client an sales manager.

Avison, a former location scout and unit manager, originally joined the studio in September 2011 as maternity cover.

Derek Watts, studio executive at 3 Mills Studio, said: “Over the last two years, Tom has become an integral part of the team, and I am delighted that we have found a role to allow Tom to remain at 3 Mills Studios.

“This is a new position combining elements of various aspects of the Studios’ activities designed to utilise Tom’s experience from the production side of the industry to improve our bookings service and client offering.”

Films to shoot at 3 Mills include Frankenweenie, Berberian Sound Studio, Trance and London Fields.
