Nortcliffe was first AD on the likes of TV shows Strike Back and Waking the Dead.
3 Mills Studios, London’s largest studio complex has appointed Mel Nortcliffe as their new Bookings Manager.
Nortcliffe worked in theatre stage management for ten years before becoming a first assistant director on the likes of television shows Strike Back, Waking the Dead, Little Britain and The Royle Family.
Derek Watts, studio executive at 3 Mills Studio, commented: “We are really excited to welcome Mel into the team. Her experience as a 1st AD is invaluable and her background from the production side of the industry will help us to improve our client offering.”
3 Mills Studios recently hosted preparation, auditions and rehearsals for the opening and closing ceremonies of the London 2012 Olympic Games, as well as the shoot for Tim Burton’s LFF opener Frankenweenie.
