Ari Novak’s action thriller Kill Shot has secured a North American deal with Well Go USA and sales representation with Bleiberg Entertainment ahead of the Cannes market.
Bleiberg will commence talks with international buyers on the Croisette next month on the story of a hunting guide and former Navy SEAL and his client in the Montana mountains who encounter terrorists searching for lost loot.
Rib Hillis (Baywatch) and model Rachel Cook (The Hack Job) star alongside Xian Mikol (Time Framed), Todd Gordon (Speed), Mark Murphy (Cowboys vs Dinosaurs), and former UFC fighter Bobby Maximus.
Producer and Convoke Media founding partner Todd Slater said, “Multi-hyphenate Ari Novak has created a non-stop thrill ride that audiences will love from start to finish.”
“We’re very happy to be a part of this exciting film which is brimming with exceptional, high-stakes action and gripping stunts,” added Nicholas Bennett, EVP of sales at Bleiberg.
“Our goal was to create an exhilarating action movie that would awe viewers with some truly breathtaking Montana backdrops while also serving up a throwback to the style of beloved 90s blockbusters that audiences so crave,” said Novak.
Hillis and Hillis co-wrote the screenplay. Novak served as producer through his Pixium Film Group alongside Slater for Convoke Media.
Slater negotiated the North American deal on behalf of the filmmakers with Doris Pfardrescher for Well Go USA.
