Execs from AMC, Deluxe and Sony join LA operation.
UK event cinema specialist Arts Alliance has opened an office in LA in a bid to grow its stateside footprint.
Heading the Studio City-based distribution outfit, which also comprises a US outpost for subsidiary Park Circus, will be MD Brad Carroll, formerly of Miramax and AMC Theatres.
Cyndi Ex, formerly of Deluxe and ETS joins the company as director of finance and operations, while
Former Sony Pictures exec Chris Lane joins the company as sales manager.
Chris Chouinard continues in his role as sales manager for Park Circus.
Mark Foster, CEO of Arts Alliance, said: “Establishing a North American centre in Los Angeles will enable us to maintain and develop our already-strong relationships with key partners from film studios, to exhibitors, to management companies, record labels, and arts institutions.”
Key clients for Arts Alliance include The Royal Opera House, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the Tate Modern and MoMA.
The growing outfit scored a hit last year with One Direction concert film Where We Are and is now looking to grow its pop music portfolio.
