B3 Media is launching TalentLab for its fourth year.
Backed by Creative Skillset and University of Nottingham’s Horizon/Mixed Reality Lab, TalentLab is a creative development programme aimed at Black, Asian and minority ethnic artists and film-makers who are ready to take their career to the next level.
Applications are now open for this year’s edition, with a closing date of June 9.
The programme is looking for individuals with a strong story to tell and a track record in visual and digital arts, film and TV, radio and theatre. It aims to find 20 candidates with ideas to participate in a series of development labs in June.
From these labs, up to 12 projects will be selected for further development and up to six projects will be commissioned and produced between August and October, with an opportunity to present their work in venues in Nottingham and London at the end of the programme.
