Bleecker Street has entered into a strategic alliance driven by artificial intelligence with online film packaging, financing and distribution marketplace Slated.
The parties will identify high-scoring films from Slated’s curated content pipeline for US distribution through Bleecker Street.
Slated’s predictive analytics offer first looks to investors and distributors and rate more than 2,000 new projects listed annually. Recent listed opportunities included Sound Of Metal and Loving Vincent.
Among Bleecker Street’s upcoming releases are Mr. Malcolm’s List with Freida Pinto on July 1; A Love Song starring Dale Dickey on July 29; James Ponsoldt’s Summering on August 12; Abi Damaris Corbin’s Breaking with John Boyega on August 26; and Guy Nattiv’s Golda starring Helen Mirren on November 11.
The distribution and financing agreement was negotiated by Bleecker Street’s head of acquisitions Kent Sanderson with Avy Eschenasy and Slated CEO Tim Wesley with Andrew Kramer of Loeb & Loeb.
