UK sales and distribution outfit Blue Finch Films has closed key deals on Deadstream, The Beta Test and Barbarians.
US comedy horror Deadstream has sold in Germany and Italy (Koch Films), Scandinavia (Mis. Label), France (VOD Factory), Benelux (Premiere TV), Poland (Velvet Spoon), and Israel (Yes).
The SXSW premiere is the debut feature from husband-and-wife directing duo Vanessa and Joseph Winter, who also both wrote the script and produced alongside Jared Cook and Melanie Stone. Joseph Winter and Stone also star.
A disgraced internet personality attempts to win back his followers by livestreaming one night alone in a haunted house. As previously announced, it has sold to Shudder in North America, the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
Jim Cummings’ The Beta Test has been acquired by Sun Distribution Group (Latin America), Leopardo Filmes (Portugal), Tiberius Film (Germany), Jaye Entertainment (South Korea), and Media4Fun (Poland).
The US horror thriller centres on a Hollywood agent who gets sucked into a world of sexual infidelity and mysterious streams of digital data. Natalie Metzger, Matt Miller, and Benjamin Wiessner of Vanishing Angle produced the film, while Cummings, Virginia Newcomb and Kevin Changaris star.
Blue Finch has also closed further sales for UK thriller Barbarians, the directorial debut of The Lost Daughter producer Charles Dorfman. The Fantastic Fest premiere has sold to Eagle Entertainment (Australia/New Zealand), Kinovista (France), Nameless (Germany), and Fabula Films (Turkey).
