Blue Fox Entertainment will kick off international sales at EFM next week on Mel Eslyn’s TIFF 2022 sci-fi comedy Biosphere starring Sterling K. Brown and Mark Duplass.
Eslyn and Duplass wrote the screenplay set in not-too-distant future where the last two men on earth must adapt and evolve to save humanity.
Producers are Zackary Drucker, Eslyn, Maddie Buis, and Shuli Harel. Mark Duplass and Jay Duplass serve as executive producers through their Duplass Brothers Productions.
Blue Fox Entertainment is screening Biosphere in the market. Head of international Lisa Gutberlet and head of worldwide marketing, Audrey Delaney said: “We couldn’t be more excited to bring this film to audiences worldwide and support the incredible vision that Mel, Mark, and Sterling have brought to this uniquely ambitious, heartwarming and surprising must-see film.
Eslyn, who made her feature directorial debut on Biosphere, added, “Mark and I are thrilled to be partnering with Blue Fox once again on a film that we hold very close to our hearts.”
Eslyn is president of Duplass Brothers Productions and has produced Room 104, The Lady And The Dale, 7 Days, The One I Love, and Language Lessons. She collaborated on and produced a number of the late Lynn Shelton’s films, including TIFF selections Your Sister’s Sister and Outside In.
CAA Media Finance negotiated the deal with Blue Fox.
