Staff at Breaking Glass Pictures are in mourning following the sudden death of chief financial officer Justin Giani. He was 25.
Giani, a graduate of Drexel University where he was a college wrestler, joined the Philadelphia-based distributor as an intern when the company launched five years ago and worked his way up the ranks.
Colleagues said he excelled at structured the company’s financial architecture and helped steer the distributor towards acquisitions as it built a brand.
A statement from Breaking Glass Pictures read: “Justin was more than an employee – he was a master of numbers, a ball of energy, an even-keeled ray of light that brought smiles to all he crossed paths with – no matter the situation.
“As we mourn the loss of a member of the BGP Family & team, we more importantly celebrate the life of one of the world’s true gifts. Justin was always so full of life and happiness and we will always remember him that way.”
