SND has found distribution matches across the globe for Julien Hervé’s wedding comedy Ooh La La!, signing deals in several territories as the title gets its market premiere at EFM.
The feature film arm of France’s M6 broadcasting group has sold the film to Sphere in Canada, to Weltkino for Germany and Austria, to Kinoswiat in Poland, Vertigo in Hungary, Blitz for the Balkans, All Media for CIS and SKeye for in-flight entertainment. The sales follow SND’s previous deals to Belga in Benelux, Tri Pictures in Spain, Nos Lusomundo in Portugal and Pathé in Switzerland.
SND produced Ooh La La! with White and Yellow Productions and will distribute the film– titled Cocorico in French – in France in February 2024
Ooh La La! follows a couple whose pre-wedding DNA test results threaten to derail their celebration plans as their family members question their true identities. The comedy stars Christian Clavier, Sylvie Testud, Didier Bourbon and Marianne Denicourt.
SND is rolling out a massive slate of French titles at the EFM including Yvan Attal’s thriller Breaking Point, Vanessa Filho’s adaptation of incendiary #MeToo era novel Consent, a new English-language dubbed version of Eric Barbier’s family adventure film Princes Of The Desert, plus new promo reels for Frédéric Tellier’s biopic Abbé Pierre-A Century of Devotion, Yann Gozlan’s psychological thriller Visions and Guillaume Nicloux’s drama The Baby.
