Screen is compiling a list of the 20 top recent VR projects and we are inviting readers to nominate their favourite experiences.
A list of the 20 best VR experiences of the last 18 months will be published in the run-up to the VR Creative Summit, at Picturehouse Central, London on December 5.
Now in its second year, the summit will explore the impact of immersive content within the film, broadcast and advertising industries.
Attendees will have access to key industry practitioners, producers and content creators, including representatives from Google, Microsoft, Sony, Framestore, BBC and Sky, who will debate and reveal the extent of VR’s influence, the reality behind the tech and the opportunities experiences offer for connecting with audiences.
The two stream summit will give delegates the chance to attend core sessions and masterclasses alongside a demo area where attendees can try the latest VR experiences and technology and enjoy networking opportunities.
“Last year we picked the top work from the industry, but this year we are giving Screen’s readers the chance to nominate their selection. We are not looking for just TV related content – but any great work that showcases a really immersive and rich VR experience. As with last year’s VR Creative Summit, some of the best work will be on show for delegates to experience through masterclasses and the demo area,” commented Conor Dignam, chief executive of Screen’s parent comapny Media Business Insight.
Entries should be emailed to Screen.VRSummit@mbi.london. DEADLINE for nominations is FRIDAY 20 OCTOBER.
