Poland’s Camerimage Film Festival aligns with American Film Institute and the American Society Of Cinematographers for Camerimage winners show in Los Angeles.
Camerimage, the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography, which takes place in Bydgoszcz, Poland (Nov 16-23), is partnering with the American Film Institute (AFI) and the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) to showcase select, award-winning festival films as part of its 4th Camerimage Winners Show in Los Angeles in January.
The Camerimage Winners Show is an initiative started by the Tumult Foundation, the festival’s organizer, to broaden the reach of the event in Poland, which awards films according to their visual, aesthetic and technical values.
The 4th Camerimage Winners Show will include eight features, four shorts, and two music videos.
For three days (Jan 24-26), the selected award-winning projects will be shown at the AFI’s Mark Goodson screening room in Los Angeles.
Camerimage festival director Marek Żydowicz said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be working with AFI and ASC in this new capacity to bring a piece of Camerimage to US audiences.
