The Cannes Film Festival has confirmed that it will announce the Official Selection for its 76th edition at 10am BST (11am CEST) on Thursday, April 13.
Cannes president Iris Knobloch and Thierry Fremaux, general delegate, will preside over the official selection press conference.
This year’s festival will run from May 16-27, maintaining the late-May slot from last year.
Two features have already been confirmed for the festival: Martin Scorsese’s Killers Of The Flower Moon starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Lily Gladstone; and Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny with Harrison Ford.
Both will be in the Official Selection, although it has not been confirmed which section they will play in.
Further titles rumoured to be playing this year include Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City, which is set for a cinema release from June 16.
Ruben Ostlund will head up this year’s Competition jury, having won his second Palme d’Or last year for Triangle Of Sadness.
