Chernobyl leads the nominations for this year’s Bafta Television and Bafta Craft awards, which were postponed from May to July due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Sky/HBO mini-series is up for 14 awards (11 craft and three television), including Jarred Harris for leading actor, Stellan Skarsgard for supporting actor and best mini-series.
The Crown has the next highest number of nominations with seven (four craft, three television), including drama series, Josh O’Connor for supporting actor and Helena Bonham Carter for supporting actress.
Fleabag and Giri/Haji both have six nominations.
The BBC is the most nominated broadcaster with 79 (48 in TV, 31 craft), followed by Chanel 4 on 31 (22 TV, nine craft), Sky with 25 (eight TV, 17 craft) and Netflix on 24 (eight TV, 16 craft).
Richard Ayoade will host the Bafta TV Awards for the first time, with the awards set to be broadcast as-live on BBC One on July 31.
Stephen Mangan will return to host the Bafta TV Craft Awards on July 17. Those awards will be broadcast through Bafta’s social channels, including YouTube.
