The Kinepolis Group CEO will receive the Global Achievement Award In Exhibition on the Las Vegas convention’s International Day on March 24.

Kinepolis was incorporated in 1997 and operates 23 multiplexes and 317 screens throughout Belgium, Frances, Spain, Switzerland and Poland.

“Eddy Duquenne is a principle example for displaying commitment towards creating innovative concepts and concentrating on establishing Kinepolis’ as the leading film exhibition for the ultimate film and culture fans,” said CinemaCon managing director Mitch Neuhauser.

“His time spent at Kinepolis has made a tremendous impact on the film exhibition industry and moviegoer experience and we couldn’t be more thrilled to honor Eddy Duquenne as this year’s CinemaCon Global Achievement Award In Exhibition.”

CinemaCon takes place from March 24-27.
