Jane Weinstock’s thriller The Moment [pictured] from producer Allan Jones stars Jennifer Jason Leigh and Meat Loaf and screens today (Feb 6), as does Fred Holmes comedy Heartland starring Frank Ahearn and Prem Chopra and produced by Sunny Virmani.
Michael Z Wechsler’s psychological thriller The Red Robin starring Judd Hirsch and produced by Shawn Singh screens in the market tomorrow (Feb 7).
Buyers can watch family adventure Side By Side from first-timer Arthur Landon and starring Bel Powley and Alfie Field on Feb 9. Sarah Giles produced.
Director of acquisitions Michael Da Silva and managing director John Dunstan negotiated the deals with the producers of each film.
Cinemavault’s World division has acquired the culinary comedy Brasserie Romantique, directed by Joel Vanhoebrouck and produced by Dries Phlypo, which screens tomorrow (Feb 7). Koen de Bouw stars alongside Barbara Srafian.
Zaza Urushadze’s wartime thriller Tangerines starring Lembit Ulfsak and Elmo Nuganen and produced by Ivo Felt screens on Feb 9, as does Bulgarian Oscar foreign-language Oscar submission and spy thriller The Color Of The Chameleon starring Lilia Abadjieva and Mihail Bilalov from director Emil Hristow and producer Bouriana Zakharieva
Also screening on Feb 9 is Marteinn Thorsson’s drama XL starring Olafur Darri Olafsson and Maria Birta and produced by Olafsson.
The roster includes thriller Between Us, wartime thriller The Whirlpool and romance Must Have Been Love.
