London-based visual effects house Cinesite have announced they are working on Marvel’s Iron Man 3, set for release in April.
This third instalment in the series will be directed by Shane Black who also co-wrote the script.
Cinesite CEO Antony Hunt said: “This is the first Marvel film for Cinesite, and we’ll be working hard to deliver high quality effects for the release which is just a few weeks away.”
The productions VFX supervisors are Christopher Townsend and Erik Nash.
Also contributing to the films visual effects will be Scanline VFX, Digital Domain, Weta Digital, The Third Floor, and Trixter Film.
ILM, which produced effects for the first two films, will not be involved.
