Red Rooms was produced by Nemesis Films and stars Juliette Gariépy and Maxwell McCabe-Lokos in the story of a tech-savvy overachiever who becomes obsessed with the high-profile trial of a serial killer.

The cast includes Laurie Babin and Elisabeth Locas, while Dominque Dussault and Tim Ringuette served as producer and executive producer, respectively.

The film premiered in Karlovy Vary and received its North American premiere as the opening night selection at Fantasia, where it won five awards.

A successful festival run has included Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, where Red Rooms won best film and best female performance for Gariépy, and the TOHorror Fantastic Film Fest in Torino, where it received the Grand Prix and Audience Award.

Red Rooms will continue its festival career in Mannheim, Leeds, São Paulo, and Thessaloniki, among others. Entract Films distributes in Canada, where the film will be available on VoD platforms on November 7.

Montreal-based distributor and aggregator h264 launched its sales division over the summer. The sales team attended Toronto last month and will be in AFM talking to buyers next week.
