Dylan Wiley has been appointed president of specialty releasing at ambitious Los Angeles-based Broad Green Pictures.
Wiley, who has been working with the company since November and was instrumental in bringing in Sundance selection A Walk In The Woods and I Smile Back, will manage the specialty slate across all media.
Broad Green plans to release eight-12 specialty titles annually across traditional and multi-platforms channels.
The specialty slate will focus chiefly on acquisitions and co-productions. Broad Green is in development on numerous projects based on scripts, specs, books, life rights and other IP-based assets.
The specialty slate includes 99 Homes, Learning To Drive and Terrence Malick’s Knight Of Cups, Voyage Of Time and untitled project starring Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara and Michael Fassbender.
Wiley most recently served as svp and general manager for Entertainment One Films US. Prior to that he served in various capacities in theatrical marketing at New Line Cinema.
