PicturePipe will provide an online platform that will allow producers to submit films to the European Film Awards.

Producers will now be able to submit films online for consideration at the European Film Awards.

Reelport and the European Film Academy (EFA) have announced that online platform PicturePipe will allow EFA Committees and Members to watch submissions online, and will also allow the option of downloading the films when authorised by the rights-holder.

Marion Döring, director of the EFA, commented: “With our new platform we will make life easier for both the producers and our members who will nominate the films for the European Film Awards.”

During the submission process, hundreds of films will be evaluated before being nominated by the EFA Members. The PicturePipe platform will manage this process from beginning to end.
