UK crowdfunding platform Crowd for Angels has added new feature E=Motion.
Science fiction thriller E=Motion has become the first feature film to be added to Crowd for Angels, the UK crowdfunding platform launched in May for equity and debt funding for both private and public companies.
Capital Films pitch, about a CIA agent on a mission to safeguard a professor who turns out to be an alien, raised £11,000 in the 12 hours after its launch. The company is seeking to raise up to £150,000 under SEIS.
Capital has a slate of ten features and ten TV pilots, one of which has been optioned by Fox TV Studios.
Capital Films’ producer Steven Farah said: “Everything is digital these days from development all the way to distribution so it only makes sense to seek finance digitally too; and Crowd for Angels is an opportunity too good not to take.”
