Entertainment One (eOne) has tapped Joyce Yeung as executive vice president sales, APAC.
Yeung will be based in the company’s recently opened Hong Kong office and will report to eOne Television International president Stuart Baxter.
She will drive sales efforts on eOne Film and TV content to broadcasters and OTT platforms across PayTV, FreeTV, SVoD and AVoD throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to joining eOne, Yeung was executive vice president of global content sales at BBC Worldwide. Before the BBC, she held positions at Sparrowhawk Media (now merged into NBC Universal) and Disney International Television.
The hire marks a continuation of eOne’s sales expansion strategy across local markets and follows the company’s recent hire of Dan Gopal to lead sales in EMEA.
“I can’t think of a more exciting time to join eOne as the company continues to grow and invest into premium content. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute further growth in the APAC region,” said Yeung.
“We are delighted to welcome Joyce to the company,” commented Baxter. “APAC is an important region for us and Joyce’s extensive market knowledge, experience and relationships in the region will be crucially important to eOne and our leadership team as we continue to build on the company’s growth and expand our global presence.”
