The International Federation of Film Producers’ Association (FIAPF) has appointed Charlotte Hurni as its new festivals director.
Hurni will take over the position from Florence Girot, who was in the role since 2017, effective immediately.
Hurni previously worked at Cinando as sales and partnerships manager at the Marche du Film, where she headed the launch of the Festivals Hub for promoting communication between film festivals.
In her new role, Hurni will be involved in the accreditation of international film festivals. Over 45 festivals, from 27 countries across the globe, receive the FIAPF accreditation.
Hurni will report to FIAPF managing director Benoit Ginisty.
